RETURNS / EXCHANGES
Every item you purchase and receive from Addy’s Closet should be as special as the child for which you are purchasing it! If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly accept returns and provide you with a refund, store credit, or exchange

Please note the following:

  • All items must be returned to us within 14 days from receipt of purchase.
  • All returns must be in unused/unwashed condition with the original tags still attached and in the original packaging.
  • Regular-priced items can be exchanged for a different size (if available)** or returned for credit to the original form of payment.
  • Sale items can be exchanged for a different size (if available)** or a store credit will be issued to apply toward a future purchase.
  • Clearance items are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged.
  • Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Orders shipped with free shipping will have our standard shipping and handling fees subtracted from your purchase credit.

**Exchanges – To ensure availability of an item you wish to exchange, we strongly recommend that you purchase the item online and then return the original item to us for credit back to the original form of payment or a store credit. We are not able to remove items from stock and hold them for you while waiting for your return.

To make a return, simply follow the directions below:

  • Email sales@addyscloset.com to notify us that you would like to return or exchange an item and to request a return authorization code (RAC). Please include your order number, list of items you would like to return and/or exchange, and reason for return/exchange.
  • We will provide you with the RAC and return shipping address.
  • We strongly recommend that you ship your return to us using a shipping method that is insurable and/or trackable, as we cannot provide proper credit or exchange for non-receipt of returns.
  • Please note that returns and exchanges are typically processed within 3-5 days of the date we receive them, and you will receive an email notification informing you of the status of your return or exchange.


SHIPPING
Addy's Closet ships orders Monday through Friday (and even Saturday if needed!) via United States Postal Service (USPS), and we ship worldwide using the following methods:

  • Domestic – First Class and Priority Mail (based on weight, destination and availability).  Please email us if you need us to send your shipment via USPS Express Mail, as it is available at an additional charge
  • International – First Class International, Priority Mail International, and Express Mail International (based on weight, destination and availability)

Shipments typically include delivery confirmation for tracking purposes and proof of delivery.

Insurance is not included in our shipping fees. If you would like insurance added to your shipment, please notify us via email immediately after placing your order. Note: We cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen shipments.

Shipping and handling fees are calculated based on your total purchase amount. See charts below.

Most orders for in-stock merchandise are typically processed and shipped within 1-2 days after the order is placed. Please note that international orders may take longer to process. We reserve the right to cancel an order if we are unable to verify payment and/or shipment information.

For orders shipped within the US, please allow 4-7 business days for receipt of your order after the date you placed the order. For orders shipped outside of the US, please allow 7-12 business days for receipt of your order after the date you placed the order.

Free shipping offers are not valid on international orders.

Customs/Duties fees are the responsibility of the buyer.   We cannot accept orders refused due to non-payment of customs/duty fees.

Please note that shipping and handling fees are non-refundable if an item is returned or exchanged. Orders shipped with free shipping will have our standard shipping and handling fees subtracted from your purchase credit.


PAYMENT OPTIONS
We gladly accept the following forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and PayPal. We do not accept personal checks or money orders.

COUPON CODES
If you have a coupon code, please enter it in the appropriate box upon checkout. Please note that only one coupon code can be applied to each order. **PAYPAL CUSTOMERS: If you want to use a coupon code, please checkout as GUEST or REGISTER/SIGN IN as the PayPal check-out button will not allow you to enter a code.

SALES TAX
We are required by law to collect 7% sales tax on all purchases shipped to Georgia addresses.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
We are an online boutique only, and therefore all of our products are available on our web site. We do not have a printed catalog. Please check our web site regularly as new stock arrives often, and we do our very best to make it available to you as quickly as possible!

Please be aware that adding a particular item to your shopping cart does not guarantee that this item will be available upon checkout, as your shopping cart does not remove the item from our current inventory. Items are not removed from our current inventory until the checkout process has been completed.

We do our very best to keep our inventory as accurate and up-to-date as possible, but occasionally we may run out of a particular item before we can update our web site. In the unlikely event that this happens, you will be contacted via email as quickly as possible to find out how you would like to proceed with your order.

SIZE INFORMATION
Please note that item sizes can vary by brand and that sometimes sizes even vary within the same brand based on style and fabric. Please email us at sales@addyscloset.com if you wish to request that we send you measurements for a particular item. In general, if you are in doubt of which size to order, we recommend that you order one size larger as children will always grow!

PRICE ADJUSTMENTS
Should you notice that we have lowered the price of a particular item that you have purchased, we will gladly offer a one-time price adjustment provided you email us at sales@addyscloset.com within 5 days from your original order date. Your price adjustment will be given in the form of a store credit, and you will receive a store coupon code via email to be used toward a future purchase.

PRE-ORDERS
Pre-orders are advance purchases that are made on merchandise that is not currently in stock but that is expected to ship at a later date (the expected shipping date will be noted within the description of each item).

Here’s how pre-orders work.
If you would like to pre-order merchandise and have the merchandise reserved for you:

  1. Shop, add pre-order items to your cart and go through the normal checkout process in Addy’s Closet. 
  2. During checkout you can choose to pay in full or to pay a deposit (typically 25-50% of the retail value). 
  3. Upon receipt of your pre-order, we will reserve the merchandise for you by removing it from our expected stock.
  4. Once the merchandise arrives in our store, we will immediately ship it to you if you have already paid in full, or we will notify you via email and invoice you for the remaining balance owed.
  5. Upon receipt of your final payment, we will then ship your pre-order(s) to you free of shipping charges**.

**Free Shipping applies only to shipments sent within the US. Competitive shipping rates will apply to international pre-orders and will be charged as part of the final pre-order payment. We will notify you via email regarding the international shipping rate you will be charged.

Pre-Order Cancellations, Store Credits, and Refunds
Please note that if you choose to cancel a pre-order, your pre-order deposit (typically 25-50% of the cost of the pre-order merchandise) will become a store credit that you may use toward a future purchase at Addy's Closet. If for any reason merchandise that you have purchased as part of a pre-order is not available (for example, the manufacturer does not make the product) or if it does not arrive within our store within 30 days of the expected shipping date, we will cancel your order if you wish and offer you a full refund on the pre-ordered merchandise.
